Strategy: Sustainability by using Cost-effective Crop Management Strategies

Over the last 18 years Matt has researched the genetics of legumes, plant anatomy and physiology, disease epidemiology of cereal and legume diseases, and the efficasy of fungicides on disease. The broad range of research gives Matt the ability to recognize disease, nutrition issues and genetic abnormalitites at a glance. Diagnosis of pest problems can be critical, but the understanding of economic thresholds determines the best financial outcome for you the producer. Matt has published research with elite scientists around the world. Since Matt was a young boy in Montana, he was involved in Montana agriculture, and now he is a Certified Crop Advisor (CCA). He can work with producers directly to help solve their problems.
